Explore the story of the people who have lived and worked in the Epping Forest district, from the earliest inhabitants to the present. There are activities for children, and visitors can also enjoy the museum garden, which is planted with a range of herbs. Key items include a changing selection from the art collection, including work by Lucien Pissarro and London Underground poster designer Walter Spradbery, the 13th-century Waltham Abbey Bible and the Tudor panelled room with its decorative carvings.
