The museum gives an insight into the maritime and local history of Deal, Walmer and the surrounding area. Displays include famous local boats; model boats; figureheads; sketches and paintings by Henry Moses, Roget and other artists; and objects associated with Deal boatmen and lifeboat men, the Cinque Ports, the Royal Marines and the town’s long association with servicing and victualling the Fleet.
