The collection includes a Queen Anne mace, a Ferrara sword, early 20th-century illuminated addresses, an 1859 Revival bible and 19th and 20th-century Gribbon family material. There is also a large group of work by illustrator Hugh Thomson and books and watercolours featuring the work of the artists JW Carey, AD McCormick and JH Campbell. The collection is currently based at Coleraine Borough Council offices pending development of a purpose-built museum in the town centre.
