The museum houses two main collections: the unique Cecil Rhodes collection – a large collection of artefacts, documents and archives relating to the life and times of Cecil Rhodes – and the local history collections which provide a fascinating insight into the history of Bishop’s Stortford. Artefacts and information are displayed in a modern, contemporary space with plenty of interactive activities for children. There is also a temporary exhibition space for museum and art exhibitions.
