Birmingham Central Library contains wide-ranging collections of books, archives and photographs including six collections designated as being of national and international importance. Please note: the library is currently preparing its collections for the move to the new Library of Birmingham, set to open in June 2013. Users are advised to phone before visiting in order to check whether the items they may want to see are available.
