Join In      Donate      News      Shop      What's On Brueghel saved for the nation What better way to begin 2011 than with the news that with your help and support, we have reached the £2.7 million target needed to save the remarkable painting The Procession to Calvary for Nostell Priory after 3 months of campaigning with the National Trust. Our own grant of £500,000 started the campaign in September, £540,000 came from trusts and foundations and £1,034,000 from the National Heritage Memorial Fund. Plus over £680,000 was donated by members of the public, including National Trust and Art Fund members and supporters. The full £2.7 million has been raised and the work can now be kept on display at its West Yorkshire home, Nostell Priory.
