Description:
The bullfighter / minotaur theme provided one of Picasso's richest veins of subject matter and proved a potent vehicle for the expression of psychological and emotional content. Of the group of prints on this theme, these works are the only two on the same grand scale as Picasso's masterpiece, the 'Minotauromachie', and show the development of personal and mythic themes that culminated in the later work.
