Description:
The subject matter is an unusual choice for the artist, and consists of a simple, strong, bold, still life drawing of a dead hare, drawn in a graphic, free and relaxed manner. It displays a freedom that is seldom seen in Uglow's work and is one of only two etchings produced during his long career.
