The Colour Spectrum Series is essentially an essay on light and colour. The work's simplicity, radiant beauty and glowing intensity will provide an apt counterbalance to the largely landscape based abstraction characterised by Nicholson, Lanyon and Hepworth represented elsewhere in the collection.
