Description:
The chair is constructed from three huge blown glass bubbles bonded together to form the base, seat and back. The chair allows the user literally to sit on transparent bubbles of air. It is the first time that blown glass has been used to create furniture and was made in conjunction with a master glass blower from the Murano factory in Venice. This piece is part of a series which includes a table and a group of linked bowls.
