Description:
This set of watercolours represent the views and viewpoints of the Piercefield Walks, one of the most famous picturesque walks of the later 18th century and an essential part of the Wye Tour. One of the watercolours is of Piercefield House at its peak with the new facade created by Sir John Soane and the additional portico, wings and pavilions. The house is now a ruin.
