Description:
Commissioned by William Beckford for the vestibule at Landsdown Tower, Bath. The table is made of solid Siena marble columns and large pieces of Bath stone clad in the same marble. The maker is unknown, but it was most probably designed by the architect of the Tower, Henry Edmund Goodridge, in collaboration with William Beckford.
