Description:
Collection includes pouches, embroidered moccasins, mittens, snow goggles, snowshoes, carvings, boxes, beaded bags, quillwork fans, leggings and a large model birch bark canoe. The most important item is a historic golden eagle feather war bonnet worn by the Sioux Indian Cinte Mazza or Iron Tail (1847 - 1916) who rode with Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show.
