Description:
Depicts the interior of the artist's studio in rue Terre Neuve, Meudon, Paris. The doll, dressed in a red and blue kimono-style garment, is seated against an open box in the centre of a table top. Still-lifes situated in simple interiors such as this are central to the artist's later oeuvre. This painting is one of two known versions of the composition.
