1) Nine-keyed conical silver flute by William Card. This flute is decorated with fine and lavishly detailed musical motifs; 2) Slide trumpet by Köhler & Son 'T. Harper's Improved'. The slide trumpet was the instument that defined English trumpet playing in the 19th century; 3) Four-keyed fluted glass flute by Claude Laurent. The body has a fine-ground interior giving a frosted appearance with a sapphire-blue glass inset at the headjoint.
