The archive presents a comprehensive record of British high-quality Jacquard hand weaving with a companion collection of printed textiles, designs, point papers, documents and, from 1919, powerwoven cloths. The artists and designers represented include AWN Pugin, William Morris, Walter Crane, Vanessa Bell, Graham Sutherland (as illustrated), Edward Bawden, Owen Jones, Bruce Talbert, Christopher Dresser, John Aldridge, Hans Tisdall and Howard Hodgkin.
