Purchased with a donation of £3,750 from the Gordon Fraser Charitable Trust through The Art Fund, this photo is part of a portfolio of four photographs by Paul Strand and another thirteen by Edward Weston which marked the first two major acquisitions of photographs through The Art Fund, in 1975.
