Henry Moore (1898 - 1986)

Towner

The album was made in response to the gift of an elephant's skull in the late 1960s. Moore kept the skull in his studio, finding inspiration in its shapes, and textures, which were suggestive of landscape forms.

  • Medium: ink on handmade Rives paper
  • ArtFunded in: 1998
  • Presented by Moyra Smart through The Art Fund
