Provenance:
Made in 1816 as a presentation to Gen. Ochterlony after the successful conclusion of the 1814-16 Nepal war. Bought by present owner (Wynyard Wilkinson) in a job lot of silver from a Phillips sale in Leeds in 1994.

An antique silver Indian colonial wine cooler, made in India, probably Calcutta circa 1816 by European silversmith.
