Description:
1) Two self portraits, a study for the painting 'l'Anniversaire' (Hommage à Berlioz, Musée de Grenoble); head and shoulders seen from behind with the artist's right hand raised holding a wreath and a smaller study of the head and shoulders in the same position. Dated Febuary 12th, 1876. 2) A study of a sugar bowl and tongs. An octagonal bowl with a design on one side, clawed tongs resting inside. Dated January 29th, 1866;
