Includes paintings by Eugene Carriere, Degas, and Forain plus drawings by Bayard, Carriere, Cassatt, Commere, Daubigny, Delacroix, Despiau, Forain, Fromentin, Gavarni, Gernez, Harpignies, L'Hermitte, Hervier, Huber, Isabey, Maillol, Marquet, Mouclier, Puvis de Chavannes, Rodin, Schuffenecker, Somm, Steinlen, Thuillier, Toulouse-Lautrec, Troyon, Vallotton, Ziem and small bronzes by Carpeaux, Degas and Renoir. The main illustration is 'Bust of a small boy in a red coat' by Jean-Louis Forain.
