Description:
1) Watercolour, 37 x 25.5 cm. 2) Oil, 40.5 x 61 cm. These paintings form part of the J W Blyth collection of 116 paintings. Mr J.W. Blyth lived in Kirkcaldy and ran a linen mill there. His house was filled with his large art collection and he lent a large number of the paintings to the gallery during his lifetime. He was gallery convener for some time and grandfather to Michael Portillo, former Conservative MP.
