There is one comment on this artwork

I'm amazed that this work has no comments. I was privileged to view this remarkable painting at Kenwood in 1996. The structure of execution, the use of a limited color palate, the invisible brush strokes, the warmth of light on the children's faces. You could feel a little giggle waiting to happen. It made me want to enter into the painting with them. Thank you too the Executors of Mrs. C M Riley for sharing your treasure. I shared that moment with a Mr. James Riley that day.
