Description:
Portrait of Augustus John as a young man. Full length portrait of the artist seated to the left looking at the spectator. Purchased by the Art Fund and originally lent to Swansea Art Galleries (now Glynn Vivian Art Gallery) before being permanently transferred to the National Portrait Gallery.
