Pair of works from the Patteson collection. John Patterson's collection was enlarged by the fortuitous inheritance, by marriage, of the core of the collection of the Suffolk antiquary Rev.Cox Macro DD, a major part of which was a group of paintings by Peter Tillemans (1684-1734) of Antwerp.
