Bernard Meninsky (1891 - 1950)

Meninsky was born in the Ukraine but was brought to England as a baby by his parents. He studied at the Liverpool School of Art and at the Slade, and much of his own career was devoted to teaching, first at the Central School and subsequently at the Westminster School of Art where he succeeded Sickert as teacher of Life Drawing in the evenings.
