Description:
Portrait of William Albin Garratt (1780-1858) and his family. William Albin Garratt was a distinguished barrister and keen supporter of Wilberforce's anti-slavery movement. His wife was the daughter of James Stephen MP, who married Wilberforce's sister. The acquisition also included a pen and ink sketch for the composition.
