Provenance:
probably detached from book in later 17th century; Jonathan Richardson the elder; according to an account by his son, lent to the 3rd Earl of Bradford and never returned; thence by descent.

Description:
The sheet was originally part of the 'Great Booke' of portrait drawings by Holbein of members of the court of Henry VIII, at Windsor Castle.
