Miniature half length portrait of Peter Oliver in profile to the right. He has a moustache and small beard and wears a wide plain collar. On the reverse is a portrait of his wife, Anne, showing her head and half shoudlers, slightly to the right. She has dark hair confined under a coif banded with lace across the forehead.
