Description:
This work is highly charged, joyful and bold, reflecting the general optimism in art and culture in the 1960s. Though essentially an abstract work, the central horn motif refers specifically to the title. The subject, cornucopia, is expressed as much by the horn motif itself as the rich application of paint and the profusion of forms tumbling from it.
