Head of the mace is surmounted by a crown, and has a head-plate bearing the Royal Arms of George I in relief, inscribed; 'THE GIFT OF THEOPHILIUS CLEMENTS ESQR. SOVERIGN OF CAVAN 1723'. Weight, 27 lbs.
