Description:
Sophronia, Christian virgin, pretends and pleads she is thief of King Aladine so her people will be saved. Subject derived from the engraving by G.B.Piazzetta for the title page of CantoII of the edition of Tasso's 'Gerusalemme Liberata', published by Albrizzi, Venice,1745.
