Description:
A twelve place dinner service, of which forty eight pieces survive. The pieces were decorated with scenes from the circus ranging from three acrobats inside a border of the crowd, with a clown opening the curtains, to a horse and trainer, a dancing bear, a girl on horseback and Paris the lion with Togare, his trainer.
