Description:
Portrait of Queen Anne of Denmark (1574-1619), consort of James VI and I. Depicts the sitter's head and shoulders, a jewelled pendant between the thumb and index finger of sitter, in a low-cut dress with a wide lace wired collar parted in the front. In a gilt-metal frame of circa 1700 engraved on the back with the monogram of James Sotheby.
