Description:
This is a perfectly crafted mask made up of long matches. From the front there is a neat mould of match heads; round the back you can see the jagged framework of the wooden shafts. Setting it alight from below, Mach doused the face before all the matches had ignited, and the nose, upper lip, cheeks and eye lids remain white. The small, brightly coloured tartan thermos flask adds a disruptive touch to the scene.
