Bonifazio de' Pitati (1487 - 1533)

This painting shows the influence of Palma Vecchio, while the pastoral landscape is reminiscent of Titian and Giorgione. Bonifazio was one of the most popular painters in Venice in the early 16th century and produced many works for Venetian palaces and churches.
