Description:
Black chalk and stump, heightened with white, on grey paper, surrounded by a lavender mount probable designed by Wilson. One of a series of 68 drawings drawn by Wilson for the second Earl of Dartmouth with whom he travelled to Naples; some sold or dispersed, but 25 rediscovered at Patshull Place in 1948.
