Daniel Finch, 2nd Earl of Nottingham and 7th Earl of Winchilsea (1648-1729/30), head only in three different positions; in profile to right; very slightly to left; and 3/4 to left. Inscribed in yellow at top left, 'Danl. E of Nottingham/by Sir G'. One of 26 gifts to 19 museums by Sir Alec Martin or Sir Alec and Lady Martin through the Art Fund between 1935 and 1967.
