Description:
Collection of English porcelain, representing fourteen English factories, with some that include pieces from all the earliest periods of their production. 167 examples of Chelsea, the strongest group, all periods represented; 127 examples of Worcester, all from Dr John wall period, that is the date of the founding of the factory in 1751 until circa 1770. 64 examples of Bow, including examples of the 'New Canton' ware copied from the Chinese. Examples of Derby, Rockingham, Staffordshire, and single examples of lesser known factories.
