The Brighton Cup, a silver-gilt vase shaped trophy cup, chased with foliage and decorated above with applied plaques of a classical horserace and the Steyne front of Brighton Pavilion. Engraved 'The Brighton Cup 1805'.

Provenance

Race won by Orville, the gift of His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales to Christopher Wilson. Orville was purchased by the Prince from C. Wilson in 1804.
