Portrait of George Brudenell (Montagu), 3rd Duke of Montagu (c1713-1798) nearly half length to left, with a rose coloured coat and star and ribbon of the Garter. A well-preserved example of a medium rarely used by Gainsborough. Signed TG in lower left hand corner.
