Description:
The jug is press-moulded and hand painted with a floral and leaf design in polychrome enamels in a palette typical of the early period. Most Worcester porcelain of the early period was inspired by the the Chinese, and the jug is possibly the earliest example of modelled classical decoration to be found at Worcester.
