Five lithographs of historical maritime scenes of the Crimean War. 1) 'The Fortress of Sweaborg and Town of Helsingfors in the Gulf of Finland'; 2) 'The Harbour, Fortifications, and Bight of Revel, from Wulf Island, in the Gulf of Finland, Opposire Baro Sound, Near Sweaborg'; 3) 'Bomassund and its Fortifications, in the Aland Islands... After the Arrival and Disembarkation of the Combined British and French Forces; 4) 'Cronstadt, from the Bay of St Petersburg'; 5) 'The Town, Foritifications, and Harbours of Odessa'. One of three gifts to three museums and libraries by F E Farrar through the Art Fund between 1948 and 1961.
