Eighteen chiaroscuro woodcuts after J.Bassano, F.Bassano, L. Bassano, Titian, Veronese, Tintoretto, & Rembrandt. Published by G.B.Pasquale, Venice. John Baptist Jackson was Britain's first outstanding wood block artist, best known for his revival of the chiaroscuro woodcut and for his adaptation of the colour woodcut to wallpaper printing.
