Description:
One of a series depicting characters from Chaucer's 'Legend of Goode Wimmen', this panel was designed by Sir Edward Burne-Jones, and the border designed by Philip Webb. It is an example of the influential collaboration of Morris as colourist and Burne-Jones as designer, who together produced much of the finest stained glass of the period, and whose non-ecclesiastical commissions did much to popularise the use of stained glass in a domestic setting.
