Description:
A Carlton House Desk of mahogany, the drawers crossbanded with rosewood. Based on a design for a a lady's drawing and writing table published by Sheraton in 1793. The prototype appears in the firm's Estimate Sketch Book in 1796. Stamped: Gillows Lancaster c 1800.
