Cabinet plate with a gilded chevron border painted with a costume figure after H Lecomte 'Costumes des Differents Nations, Costumes Europeens'. Inscribed on the reverse: Paysanne des environs d'Arles. Has the red griffin mark for Rockingham porcelain, 1826-30.
