Description:
The ewer and basin known as a pot a eau ordinaire, both pieces marked on the base with crossed L's and the date letter I for 1761. The silver mount bears the Paris decharge mark. The decoration is in monochrome of dark and pale pinky-red showing pairs of birds in a landscape. The rims are gilded.
