Description:
Newcastle Race Cup provided by the Corporation as the prize for one of the races. The cover is surmounted with Newcastle's civic crest, the body bears the town's coat of arms. Late neo-classical design with cast elements probably from the London firm of Emes and Barnard. Weight, 102 oz.
