Made for Lister's daughter on the occasion of her marriage to James Sunderland.

Description:
George III musical bracket clock with an arched painted dial with subsidiaries for tune change, calendar and rise and fall regulation, signed in a cartouche, 'Thos. Lister, Halifax'. The clock-face is flanked by ivory-inlaid columns with ivory capitals. Ten tunes can be played on twelve bells. The case of inlaid mahogany is ornamented in the Sheraton style.
